Here is a snapshot of some of the findings:

• Over 90 per cent of customers are happy with their mortgage broker and their services.
• More than 50 per cent of all home loans originate with mortgage brokers. A number that continues to grow.
• Mortgage brokers drive competition and place competitive pressure on interest rates, so customers get a better deal.
• Mortgage brokers provide access to a diversity of lenders leading to better customer outcomes.
• More than 70 per cent of mortgage brokers’ business is referred from existing customers. Brokers depend on strong relationships, so they put their customer first.
